Mr. Field

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what has been the size of the surplus on the national insurance fund for each year since 1966; and if he will also present these data in 1966 prices.

Mr. Field

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how much extra revenue has been raised over the past two financial years for the national insurance fund from the contributions arising from phasing out the married woman's option to pay reduced national insurance contributions; and if he will present these data as a percentage of all contributions.
