§ Mr. Michael McGuireasked the Minister for the Civil Service if he will list in theOfficial Report the total number of public service jobs, both manual and non-manual, which have been dispersed either to, or created in, the various regions of the United Kingdom since 1945, giving in each case (a) the name of the recipient city or town in each region, (b) the name of the transferred or created Department, (c) the number of jobs involved, (d) the net cost to the Government and (e) the number of jobs allocated to each region calculated on a per 100,000 population basis.
