§ Mr. MayhewI am informed by the chairman of the Health and Safety Commission that the proposed regulations for the notification of accidents, dangerous occurrences and ill health contain comprehensive requirements for accident notification for all work activities.
Accidents to employed and self-employed persons and to members of the public will be notifiable.
I have no plans for further legislation to make accidents on escalators specifically reportable.
