§ Dr. McDonaldasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will update the estimate provided in the 1979 public expenditure White Paper, Cmnd. 7432, for total expenditure in social security in 1979–80 at both current and 1978 survey prices; and if he will update the estimates for the individual components of the social security budget listed in table 2.12 of the White Paper in the same way.
