Mr. Onslow

asked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will undertake to publish in the next Defence White Paper statistics relating to the loss of Service aircraft in the period under review.

Mr. Pattie

The content of the next Statement on the Defence Estimates has yet to be decided but my hon. Friend's suggestion will be kept in mind.

Mr. Onslow

asked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will undertake to publish in the next Defence White Paper statistics relating to the numbers of Service personnel who were killed or injured whilst on duty as well as those who died from other causes or were invalided out of the Service during the period under review.

Mr. Speed

I shall bear my hon. Friend's suggestion in mind when considering what is to be included in the next White Paper.
