asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he has published the latest available figures for construction starts in the United Kingdom.

The latest available figures for house building starts in the United Kingdom are contained in the current issues of the "Monthly Digest of Statistics" and "Housing and Construction Statistics"—a quarterly publication. Both are available in the Library of the House. The next issues will be published in August and will be placed in the Library.
