§ Mr. Lawrenceasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish in the Official Report a list of the public expenditure cuts made since 1975 for each Department and the length of time given between the announcements of the cuts and their implementation.
§ Mr. BiffenI refer my hon. Friend to the tables of announced changes to expenditure programmes published in the following public expenditure White papers, which give the dates of the announcements and the years in which the changes were to take effect:

Since Cmnd. 7439 the main changes in public expenditure include the reduction of £200 million announced on 19 April, to take effect in the year 1979–80, as a result of the refinancing of export credits by the Trustee Savings Bank and those announced in my right hon. and learned Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer's Budget Statement of 12 June. Full details of the latter changes were given in the Treasury's press release of the same date.
