§ Mr. Fordasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if, in view of his reply to the hon. Member for Bradford, North, Official Report, 3 July, he will inquire from chief officers of police in England and Wales whether they have any knowledge of any case in which a firearm legitimately obtained in the United Kingdom has been subsequently identified as having been used in crime or for terrorist activities in any of the member countries of the Council of Europe.
