§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithThe Commission's proposals for an EEC sheepmeat regime are still under discussion and, while much remains to be settled, I am satisfied that these proposals form a reasonable basis for negotiation. We are implementing a 50p increase in hill sheep compensatory allowances and will review aids for hill sheep producers in October.
