Mr. Park

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many psychiatric patients per 10,000 population in the city of Coventry were treated at out-patient clinics in the years 1977 and 1978.

Information in the form requested could be obtained only at disproportionate cost. In round figures, there were 22 new psychiatric out-patients per 10,000 population in both 1977 and 1978. Total psychiatric out-patient attendances, in similar terms, were 277 and 262 respectively.
