§ Mr. Dobsonasked the Secretary of State for Energy (1) what was the capital cost of 1000 megawatts of new plant of (a) coal, (b) oil and (c) nuclear fuel in each year since 1960; and what are the 59W estimated costs of each plant for each of the next eight years, all expressed at current prices;
(2) what was the Central Electricity Generating Board's planning margin in each year since 1960, expressed in terms of installed capacity and as a percentage of the actual system maximum demand up to the current year and the estimated system maximum demand for future years; and what factors have led to the increase;
(3) what were the annual estimates of system maximum demand produced by the Central Electricity Generating Board for planning purposes in each year since 1960; what was the actual system maximum demand in each of the years in which estimates were made; and what was the installed capacity in each of those years.
