§ Mr. Gordon Wilsonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what finance he has supplied to Scottish local authorities for the removal of air raid shelters; and whether he intends to make some further provision to meet this problem.
§ Mr. YoungerFrom 1971 to 1973 local authorities were offered 100 per cent. grants at a cost of about £360,000 to798W demolish their remaining surplus Second World War shelters. This programme was terminated in March 1973. I have no proposals to resume it.
