§ Mr. Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement on the results found on the island of Gruinard by the team led by Dr. John Bartlett of the chemical defence establishment at Porton; and what plans he has for the future for experiments into ways of eradicating anthrax spores.
§ Mr. HayhoeSamples were collected successfully from a large number of sites on the island and these are now being analysed. Future plans will depend on the results of this analysis, which will not be known for some months.
