§ Mr. HurdThe number of diplomatic staff at the embassies of Warsaw Pact countries is as follows:
Country and Number of Diplomats Bulgaria 13 Czechoslovakia 15 GDR 17 Hungary 14 Poland 27 Romania 11 Soviet Union 45 142 Ceilings are imposed unilaterally on the number of diplomats at the embassies of the Soviet Union and the German Democratic Republic. The Government have at present no plans to limit these numbers further nor to limit or reduce the number of diplomats at the embassies of other Warsaw Pact countries.
