§ Mr. Neubertasked the Secretary of State for Employment whether he intends to remove the energy-related costs from the retail prices index or make any other variation in the factors used in its compilation.
§ Mr. Jim Lester,pursuant to his reply[Official Report, 3 July 1979], gave the following answer:
I have no plans to change the coverage or the method of compilation of the retail prices index.
