§ The Solicitor-GeneralThe Judicature (Northern Ireland) Act 1978, the main provisions of which came into operation on 18 April 1979, effected a major reorganisation of the courts in Northern Ireland. My noble Friend the Lord Chancellor is now responsible for the admistration of justice in Northern Ireland. Any suggestions for further improvement which the hon. Member may wish to make will, of course, be carefully considered by him.
