Mr. Faulds

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what plans he has for the restoration of the exterior of the Victoria and Albert museum and the Tate gallery where bomb damage was sustained during the last war.

Mr. Monro

None. Scars and pitting left on public buildings by bomb damage sustained during the last war are regarded as part of their historic association with the past.

Mr. Faulds
