§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeSubject to the completion of the statutory procedures and the availability of funds at the time, we expect construction of the Bromsgrove section to start in 1981, of the Tam-worth section in 1982, and of the all-purpose road section of the Birmingham-Nottingham route, the Castle Donington section, in 1983–84. Public inquiries into the subsidiary order proposals for the Kingsbury and Polesworth subsections of the Tamworth section will take place next year, immediately following the public inquiry into the line for the Castle Donington section.
