§ Mr. Lofthouseasked the Lord Privy Seal who paid the expenses incurred by Mr. J. M. Drinkwater, QC, in travelling to and around Zimbabwe-Rhodesia and in his preparation of the report dated 3 May to the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs.
§ Mr. LuceThe cost of duplicating the report prepared by Mr. J. M. Drinkwater, QC, was met by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. No other expenses connected with the preparation of the report were met from public funds, and we are not therefore in a position to provide the information requested.
