§ Mr. David Priceasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish in the Official Report the revenue cost in a full year of raising the main personal allowances for income tax by 25 per cent. and of adopting the following scale of income tax rates: £0 to £5,000 at 25 per cent., £5,001 to £10,000 at 30 per cent., £10,001 to £12,000 at 35 per cent., £12,000 to £14,000 at 40 per cent., £14,001 to £17,000 at 45 per cent., £17,001 to £21,000 at 50 per cent., £21,001 to £25,000 at 55 per cent. and over £25,001 at 60 per cent.
