§ Mr. ArmstrongIn general, local authorities were asked to express their bids in November 1977 prices. The full494W rules governing the price base are set out in the notes for guidance to annex C of DOE circular 38/78.
§ Mr. Stanleyasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list the 107 district councils whose provisional allocations for their housing investment programmes for 1979–80 are in excess of their bids, stating in each case the amount of the provisional allocation and the amount of the bid, and stating also the total of the provisional allocations to these 107 councils and the total of their bids.
§ Mr. ArmstrongI have arranged for the requested list to be sent to the hon. Member showing the names of those authorities whose provisional allocation at 1979–80 outturn prices exceeds their bids as submitted at November 1977 prices.
