§ Mr. Denis HowellAlthough it has not been possible so far to get ahead with the specific maintenance programme proposed by the British Waterways Board because of industrial action by certain of its staff, the Board has been able to use the additional grant so far allocated in the current financial year on materials needed for the programme and on other urgent works.
