§ 38. Sir David Rentonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services, in the light of the fact that the Cambridgeshire area health authority is unable to provide long-term care for all the chronically sick patients for whom it is required as a result of financial reasons, whether he will ensure that this health authority and all others are provided with sufficient funds to discharge their statutory duties.
