§ Mr. Stephen Rossasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will empower local authorities to refuse to entertain an application for consent to demolish a listed building within five years of a refusal of consent to demolish the same building unless the applicant could give overwhelming evidence that the circumstances had changed significantly.
§ Mr. ShoreI see no advantage in giving local authorities these powers and do not propose to do so.
