Member for Swindon on 14 December 1978 relating to the number of information officers employed by his Department included those employed at battalion and equivalent level as well as at the Ministry of Defence itself.
§ Dr. GilbertThe numbers given included all civilian information officers and military personnel engaged full-time on PR duties at Ministry of Defence headquarters and at military formations at home and overseas There are no officers engaged full-time on these duties at battalion or equivalent level.
