§ Mr. Ennals:I have already had discussions with nurses' representatives about this claim, and would be prepared to meet them again if that were likely to be helpful and appropriate at any time in the future.
§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Social Services, in the light of recent pay awards to workers at Fords and British Oxygen, bakery workers, and oil delivery drivers, if he will renew the claim of the nurses to be treated as a special case for their salaries.
§ Mr. Ennals:I am giving careful consideration to the representations which have been made to me an behalf of nurses, and will take account of all relevant factors.
