§ Mr. Les Huckfield:Thirty project applications are being considered by the Department and broader five-year programmes of support are under discussion with most of the major companies in the industry. Support for the microelectronics industry totalling £ 7.16 million has so far been approved since the programme was announced. No money has yet been spent.
