§ Mr. Robert Sheldon:Figures for the whole of 1978 are not yet available. In the first three quarters of 1978 income tax represented 14 per cent. of the gross domestic product at factor cost. In the corresponding period of 1977 the proportion was 15 per cent. and in 1977 as a whole it was 14 per cent.
