§ Mr. James Johnsonasked the Minister of Overseas Development what response she intends to make to the appeal for Africa by the International Committee of the Red Cross for the six months commencing 1st November 1978.
§ Mr. Tomlinson:We propose to make a grant in aid of £1 million. Of this £500,000 will be earmarked for Southern Africa, including Rhodesia and the front line States. Parliamentary approval will be sought in the spring Supplementary Estimates for the overseas aid Vote.
