Mr. Bishop

The following is the information requested as at 2nd January 1979:

Mr. Harold Walker

My Department published last year a new booklet for employers explaining the basic provisions of the legislation, and this has been widely distributed to employers and employers' organisations. The booklet has been advertised in the press and I have also sent copies to nearly every employers' association in the country.

We are now preparing another leaflet, on the unfair dismissal provisions of the legislation, with the needs of the small employer in mind.
