§ Mr. Alfred MorrisIn October 1977, the Chief Medical Officer of my Department wrote to general practitioners informing them of the final extension of the programme for the exchange of body worn hearing aids for a behind-the-ear model. With his letter was enclosed a copy of the Department's booklet "General Guidance for Hearing Aid Users". My hon. Friend can be assured that general practitioners will be kept fully informed of any significant further extensions of service provision.
