§ Lord AVEBURY asked Her Majesty's Government:
§ Whether entry certificate officers are required to ascertain the previous X-ray 2078WA history of any appilcant for an entry certificate who is sent for an X-ray.
§ Lord GORONWY-ROBERTSECOs do not send entry certificate applicants forX-rays. They may ask the qualified medical officer to provide age assessments. It is for the medical officer to establish the applicant's previous X-ray history, if necessary, and to decide whether an X-ray is appropriate and what precautions should be observed in carrying out the examination.
