§ 40. Mr. Michael Marshallasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what representations he has received from local authorities whose new ward 251W boundary arrangements will not be completed before the May elections and which will be required to hold further full elections in 1980.
§ Mr. JohnLocal authorities have represented that future electoral arrangements orders should provide for elections of the whole council, on the basis of new electoral arrangements, to be held in 1980, 1982, and 1983. No orders have yet been made to come into effect in 1980.
