Mr. Nicholas Winterton

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what reply he has sent to the letter from the county secretary and solicitor of the ] Cheshire county council dated 3 February 1979 on the sunject of wage settlements and the rate support grant, which was supported by all the district councils of Cheshire, and if he will make a statement.
