§ Mr. Bradfordasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will take action to amend the rights of tenants of properties in Northern Ireland built since 1956 by giving them access to a rent tribunal.
§ Mr. Carter, pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 5 February 1979; Vol. 962, c. 81], gave the following information:
The situation of tenants of houses whose rents are not subject to the main 220W provisions of the Rent (NI) Order 1978 is being kept under review. The need for extending control to such houses will be considered if there is evidence of serious abuse.
