§ Mr. Spearingasked the Secretary of State for Transport what proposals have 129W been made recently by the EEC Commission concerning vehicles which are permitted to circulate freely within the EEC; what their weights are; and at what meetings these proposals are to be considered.
§ Mr. William RodgersThe Commission's proposals have been deposited in Parliament and copies can be obtained from the Vote Office. The proposals will probably be considered by the Council of Ministers in the summer, after being discussed by the European Parliament and the Economic and Social Committee.
