§ Mr. Ian Lloydasked the Lord President of the Council (1) when he intends to make arrangements which will offer hon. Members access to the databanks which are now available on-line in Western Europe and North America;
(2) whether he will ask the Computer Sub-Committee of the Services Committee to report before the end of the present Session on the data-processing facilities and allowances now available to members of other legislatures and to make recommendations on the facilities and allowances considered appropriate for hon. Members.
§ Mr. FootI have referred both of the hon. Member's suggestions to the Computer Sub-Committee, which, in co-operation with another place and with the assistance of the newly appointed102W computer development officer, is considering what computer developments should take place in parliament in the years ahead.
