§ Mr. Greville Jannerasked the Secretary of State for Employment whether he has now considered the paper from the Heatlh and Safety Commission which takes the view that amending legislation should be introduced to remove the Crown's immunity from enforcement and prosecution; and whether he will now take whatever action is necessary to secure compliance with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 by all Crown bodies.

I can, however, assure my hon. and learned Friend that where action is necessary to secure compliance with the Act in Crown establishments, it will be taken.
