§ Mr. Gryllsasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will list the subjects on which professional consultants' reports have been commissioned by the Inland Revenue and at what cost, in each of the years 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977 and 1978.
§ Mr. Robert Sheldon, pursuan to his reply [Official Report, 30 January 1979; Vol. 961, c. 421], gave the following information:
No specific professional consultants' reports were commissioned by the Inland Revenue in these years. The Department does, however, employ professional consultants on a continuous basis on a range of specialist work on data processing.
