§ Mr. WhitelawAnnual figures are available only from 1975 because of the reorganisation of police force areas on 1 April 1974. Summary figures from 1975 for the age group requested are given in the following table. More detailed information for those aged 10 and under 17 years found guilty is published annually by police force area in "Criminal Statistics, England and Wales"—Tables 3(b) and 7(b) of the volume for 1978 (Cmnd. 7670).
