§ Mr. Biggs-Davisonasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what arrangements have been made to fill the offices of Northern Ireland Parliamentary Commissioner for Administration and Northern Ireland Commissioner for Complaints on the retirement of the present holder of these offices.
§ Mr. Humphrey AtkinsMr. Stephen McGonagle, who has held the two offices, will reach the statutory retirement date at the end of this month. The Queen has appointed Dr. R. J. Dickson, at present chief officer of the North-Eastern Education and Library Board, to hold the office of Northern Ireland Parliamentary Commissioner for Administration and Northern Ireland Commissioner for Complaints from 1 January 1980.
