asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will list the amount of money currently paid from public funds to the National Union of Students; and if he is satisfied that the grant represents a suitable use of public funds.

No money is paid direct from public funds. Each student union decides itself whether or not to affiliate to the NUS.
