§ Mr. Harold Walkerasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will specify the activities of the Health and Safety Executive which are to be reduced as a result of the Civil Service review.
§ Mr. Mayhew[pursuant to his reply, 18 December 1979]: As a result of the statement on Civil Service manpower reductions, made in the House on 6 December, the Health and Safety Commission and its Executive will be reviewing the allocation of resources to future programmes of work. Any decisions will be made by them, and it is too soon to say what reductions are planned.
