asked the Minister for the Civil Service how many computer installations there are in the home, non-industrial, Civil Service.

Information, including a broad indication of location, on the computers installed in Government Departments is published annually with the May edition of "Management Services in Government". This is available in the Library.

The exact information requested by the hon. Member, however, is not held centrally and could not be obtained without disproportionate cost.
