§ Mr. Skeetasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what consultation he has had with the mineral industry over the operation of section 41 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1971.
§ Mr. FoxOfficials have had a number of discussions recently on this point with bodies representing mineral operators, including the CBI minerals committee. These bodies have been invited to submit evidence of any particular difficulties which may arise from the operation of this provision.
