§ Mr. Deakinsasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if instructions will be given that no person should be refused any benefit to which he is entitled under a reciprocal agreement with the country to which he is a national by reason of reference in the proposed new 273W immigration rules to his having recourse to public funds.
§ Mr. PrenticeNo such instructions will be necessary. The proposed new immigration rules will not curtail any benefit rights which arise from reciprocal agreements on social security.
