Mr. Jim Callaghanasked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster how much of the Government's grant of£15 million to the National Heritage Fund will be provided from a public expenditure programme administered by the Treasury and how much will be provided from an addition to total public expenditure.
§ Mr. St. John-StevasTen million pounds will be an addition to total public expenditure in 1980–81 and the balance, about£5½million, is being transferred from the relevant Treasury programme. Upwards of£12 million of the total sum is to be paid into the National Heritage Fund.
