HC Deb 17 December 1979 vol 976 c65W
Mr. Bradford

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what use is being made of the Mount Street clinic in South Belfast; and if he will use it for the purposes of youth work, including recreation.

Mr. Alison

The former Mount Street clinic is surplus to public needs and is being offered for sale on the open market. There are no plans to use the premises as a youth facility. Responsibility for the provision of sporting and recreational activities rests with the Belfast city council, but I understand that it has no plans to acquire or adapt the property for recreational purposes.
