§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeTotal expenditure will depend on the outcome of the review of the trunk road programme which is now being undertaken and on progress with preparation and construction. On present plans, that on trunk road schemes costing over£0.5 million should be at least£35 million (at November 1978 prices) during the period 1979–78W 80 to 1983–84. We are also providing 100 per cent. grant for the M602 Salford Docks road, which is being built by the county council.
