Mr. ChristopherPrice asked the Lord Privy Seal if he will instruct the Governor on arrival in Zimbabwe-Rhodesia to lift those exclusion orders placed by the illegal regime on journalists and others who are United Kingdom citizens and, in particular, that imposed on Mrs. Judith Acton.
§ Mr. LuceAll prohibited immigrants and persons on the stop list, including Mrs. Judith Acton, are free to reapply for entry and their cases will be given sympathetic consideration. The Governor has taken steps to lift restrictions on British journalists.
§ Mr. Alfred Morrisasked the Lord Privy Seal if he will ask the Governor of Zimbabwe to submit as soon as practicable a report on the health of the population and, in particular, on the effect of the war on preventive measures.
§ Mr. LuceThe Governor's main task is to provide conditions in which free elections can be held. The implementation of a ceasefire should contribute to the resumption of normal medical services, including preventive medicine.
